Seed head

"Dandelion"
About the painting

"The dandelion is a perennial, herbaceous plant with long, lance-shaped leaves. They're so deeply toothed, they gave the plant its name in Old French: Dent-de-lion means lion's tooth in Old French."

T
he idea came to me spontaneously as always, burst in the night and would not let me sleep until I got up and made a sketch. I woke up in the morning, took a sheet with a sketch and began to think what could come of it, and what this whole thing could mean. The more I thought, the stronger my desire to start painting growth, because I found this idea genious.

I am a dandelion with seed head, it's still summer time and fall is not coming soon, but I have blossomed and my head is full of seeds, and I wait until the wind picks up patachutes and scatter them around. They will have a long journey, and they will have to bravely fight to succeed in ground, root and become the beginning of a new life.

Now imagine that the seeds are ideas growing out of the heads. They need to catch the wind that blew them around ao some of them have found their place in this world and become material.

Even if winter comes, dandelions do not die, and as soon as they feel the summmer's coming again they will grow, even if put an asphalt surface sooner above sooner or later they will beat it.

"Unless you remove it completely, it will regenerate. If you break off more pieces than you unearth, the dandelion wins. "What's a dandelion digger for?" a dandelion asked.

"Itís a human invention to help us reproduce," another dandelion replied."
